That's what the ARM discussion is about. If it offered similar performance improvements in Win as it did with Mac, every plugin would need to be recoded.If my NI software works on Windows 11 now, why shouldn’t it work in the future? #confused
Also - and I think this unlikely - Windows 12 (expected in 2025) might not be as developer-friendly as Windows 11 was. But this is an area where Windows is vastly superior to MacOS - every year is an annual trauma for Mac-users, while Windows versions a) last longer and b) plugins tend to keep working when they arrive anyway.
So once again to be clear - while nothing is certain, Mac owners should be wary of these offers, but Windows users have a much better chance of being able to use these for a good while yet.
