PA have some really fantastic stuff. Great distortion/saturation, some great eqs and very good compression.Agreed... And I had the same experience. I never watch into PA catalog because most of it is .... hem.... not interesting to me. But it is on the good advises of this forum that I finally decided to buy it and oh man haven't I been disappointed...
I am huge UAD user, but I turn to PA for saturation a lot, and my mastering chain has 5 PA plug ins. All of which are really excellent.
Their synths aren't too bad either. Oberhausen and Knifonium are both pretty unique.
