I am very curious what this thing actually does when a sound is slowed down to the point of near zero resolution relative to the sample time. As part of my professional work, I have worked quite a bit on algorithms related to spectral estimation and signal modeling based on the estimated power spectrum (mostly images in my case). I guess what I am wondering is how much of the response it generates is due to the algorithm itself and how much comes from the input signal.
