Let's flip the question. Do you like music you are making? Even if the synths make you feel you're missing something?
The end result is pretty much all that matters. Turn up as daily as possible, turn on your synths, open the DAW to your heart and make music. Practice, experiment, create.
Eventually you'll like the music you're making, you'll be happy that you're capable and you'll love and cherish the instruments that made the music.
