Yeah, that's way more eloquently said than what I said.I posted a picture earlier of "The Homer" - the car with every feature added that naturally turned out to be horrific. I think some of the suggestions are OK, so long as it doesn't destroy the original intent of the developer and overcomplicate it (it's pretty comprehensive already).
An example of my suggestion that I never suggested because I said to myself "this is already awesome".
I could whine about how the "Triaz" "CHANCE" function is visually broken I mean from the visual standpoint it is counterintuitive. And this allows me to patronize him? Well, not of course.
Allow me to explain. It is exactly counterintuitive visually.
How so? Well, CHANCE should work like this, whenever a hit is placed in the sequencer "DRUM" - CHANCE should've been added at that same step at 100%. Because if I added a hit to say step 1 then for good sake I expect it to "hit" at step 1 - 100% of the time.
If the Hit is removed from the DRUM step 1, then obviously Chance should be removed from that spot as well.
So for example I place hit in and when I go to the CHANCE tab when I make that square smaller visually it should mean that the "chance" of playing hit is exactly well... smaller.
BUT
The current visual aid is exactly the opposite. When the chance square indicator is "larger" then the chance of playing that step is smaller. Who the f*** decided about it?
It is making my simpleton mind f**ked up. Like whenever I see that the square is larger I expect that the chance of that step being played is also larger.
But in Triaz someone decided if a chance is smaller then the square is larger. WTF?
So a square of 33% size means that it will play 33% of the time, but a square of 100% size means that the hit will be 0% played. This is just silly.
I think my way of having CHANCE automatically filled 100% whenever a hit is placed in the specific step is more intuitive and then if you want to decrease a chance you decrease the size of the square.
I was thinking of hiring a contract killer but then I decided against it.
