I’ve not found a bug, so I guess it does what it’s supposed to do. I wouldn’t mind a v3. I could think of a bunch of things I’d add to it, like a “vintage” knob which loosens up the parameters per voice, but it’s not too bad to set it up using their modulation system. I’ve got a template. Some extra filters would be nice too. Overall, it’s a really great synth. Like having a 3 oscillator Prophet ‘08 REV2. It even sounds a bit like it, which makes sense because the 08’s from the Matrix 6 linage, Curtis chip wise, at least.You can still buy Cypher 2. The last update was several years ago: 2.6.1.7.i was talking about the ver 1, can you even still get them? i havent tried in a few years,Cypher 2 replaced my REV2. Seems to work just fine.I cant remember the last time i even had those installed. dead company = dead synths imo.

It’s funny that I wasn’t aware of the Matrix 6/1000s. We had a 12 in a store I worked at, but I think we only ordered one and it didn’t last long. I remember thinking it was confusing, and I gravitated to the Prophet 5 we had. That was our big seller in the flagship synth slot. Not that I could afford anything. By the time I heard the 6, I already had an 08, and I thought they had a similar vibe, but I liked the 08 more. Bit more brash and buzzy.
Anyway, try the Matrix 12 V plugin. It’s pretty good, though a little dull like all the legacy Arturia stuff. I hope they to a revamp like they did with their Jupiter 8. That would be a great emulation.
