No of course it's just my opinion. It has all the typical large company "death throw" tell tail signs and has been going down the inevitable road to oblivion for quite some years now. All of the principles the company was founded on are long gone.Is this just your opinion or a fact? If fact, please elaborate.Native Instruments is EOL.
As a brand it's still very strong and a recognizable name so it won't die in that manner but instead it is morphing into something different, something bland and generic.. like very often is the case with companies when they grow large and get purchased by venture capitalists.
I still use their legacy products and am not planning on dumping them any time soon because a good product is a good product for the duration of it's life time. I'm just not giving the modern variation of NI any money as they simply do not have any products that interest me and I don't trust them to do good by their products (meaning I don't count on any updates ever and I most definitely don't trust their support department at all). Thus I spend no money on them and haven't for years. Completely ignoring all their software and hardware. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Same goes for iZotope. They are in a similar situation and thus have naturally lost me as a customer about 6 years ago. The only party of the trinity where I still pay attention to new products is Plugin Alliance as they do every once in a while release interesting products (and to be fair, I still have a few 29$ vouchers left ).
