I have been reorienting myself to thinking of Bitwig as more of a synthesizer than a DAW going forward. That way I won't be disappointed.
Bitwig is not willing to maintain Bitwig Studio as a professional DAW, but instead makes it a hobby-DAW
Ok, let's wait for a while... and especially don't wait for them to listen to people here.
So now I see it more as a Waldorf Iridium on steroids. If they drop new DAW features, great. If instead we get a new DC Offset+ device I won't be shocked.
They seem to be pushing people toward using Studio One and slicing up the cake between them. That isn't cool.
I'm not very happy with Bitwig right now.
I do hope things improve.
