Regarding CPU use - It’s a dual layer 16 voice synth with up to 5 FX running (when you include the chorus) at once. So it won’t be light on some patches. Selecting Solo and / or 8 note poly should cut the use by roughly 50-75%.

The basic voice calibration options also (finally) include a “Drive” option for the filter to saturate the voices.
It’s easily less than half of Diva in single-core Divine mode (with a suitably intensive patch) on Apple Silicon. SynthX peaks at ~46% of a P core (Edit: Noticed Beely's comment, and "Nightcore" gets it to 50%), and Reaper reported 3.1% system load (M1 Ultra) using higher CPU 16 poly patches, which roughly aligns with (just under) half of a P core (at peak) being used.So while this is undoubtedly an excellent synth model, it's not for me. CPU usage is also very high.. like U-He Diva at 'Divine' setting high
