Interesting delusionIcarus is a good synth but too 'digital' you will NOT ever be able to get good anologous sounds out of it like you can with U-He Zebra or Diva...I'm just saying....
:):)From my tests and experience it's exactly the opposite - Icarus make for less than 5 min more convincing ANALOG-ISH sound,than any analog emu ...if need such analog-ish sound try Tone2 Analog filter ( color & character ) or 303 Analog ( fine analog touch ) or Curtis Analog ( temper ) or Analog BP 12db ...not to mention how many interesting combinations of filters you can make easy by default ... morphing and modulating any kind of waveforms you can load and twist them in any experimental direction...which of synths mentioned above have these options and offer such diversity?
What i adore the most about it is how easy Icarus can do anything - digital/analog/extraterrestrial/experimental ... so easy to create any kind of harmonic content,especially ANALOG-ish,haven't seen any other to make it so easy ...if somebody is interested remind me to play some leads i made with it,so to believe me how ANALOG Icarus can be
