Look obviously english is a second language here, but you simply don't know what you're talking about with Reaper. It's very arguably the more complex DAW of the two, and no, it's not all due to scripts.And you clearly can’t see the difference in general idea here? A bit of common sense ffs!!Cockos who make Reaper are essentially two people with 4 contributors, including one who just makes youtube videos.
Reaper make base for the program and it is later need to be expanded with scripts. Reaper don’t have a single instrument and all FX are also by community.
The list of features Reaper has that Bitwig doesn't is a small novel. ARA, movie scoring , music score tabs, NRPN and SysEx, spectral editing, much more advanced MIDI and audio editing, dozens of bounce features, retrospective MIDI and audio, Audio Unit support etc, then there's the more advance Lua scripting that gets you things like a clip Launcher, and articulation mapping. [ For those that take this the wrong way, Reaper is a kitchen sink DAW, and doesn't really give a rats ass about user experience, since you're expected to customize it to your liking. Clips and the Launcher in Reaper is an afterthought, but again, there's no doubt that Reaper is as difficult of a code base to maintain as Bitwig. The reality is it's 2-5 guys usually who maintain the code for the DAW itself, maybe a graphics person, someone to write the manual and sales, marketing people. Adding more people isn't a thing, that was my point.]
