Totally subjective, but, i couldn't agree more. Watching really talented people use modern (digital) software technology to replicate 1970s (analog) linear tech to the level of damn near worship is completely bizarre to me.ANALOG EMULATIONS OF ANYTHING.
I want this about as much as I want another $60-90 remake of Final Fantasy 7 or a FF pixelgame in the gaming marketplace...
Is nicely detuned, crackly, wobbling stuff good sometimes? Of course. It was good throughout the 1900s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and part of the 80s, oh and we cant get forgot the 90s and most of the 2000s, and of course the entirety of the 2020s. But wait! Processing everything (everything) through degraded magnetic tape began to become less popular for a brief moment in time, so 10,000 boards of canada imitators literally built a plugin marketplace with their belief system lmaaao and again -- to be clear....
