There's nothing behind the one knob?You gave no clue what's behind that "one knob", what it's supposed to do. So devs are clueless whether they are able to implement it.
Remember: ideas are cheap and plentyful. Implementing it is difficult and expensive...
It just turns and does nothing. Hence the word "empty" VST with only GUI
