I think it's a huge shame that they've closed down (and deleted the forums) since that leaves perpetual license holders like myself without any kind of knowledge base. It's really annoying how they are trying to nudge customers to buying into the subscription model and shafting their customers who have already forked out for a perpetual licence (e.g. the ridiculous upgrade price).
However, I'm going to have to defend their support team because I've had several interactions over the years and I've found them to be responsive and generally helpful. Not perfect but definitely as good as you might expect.
